#25. Have a picnic

Check out my "25 years, 25 tasks" post to see the 25 things I want to do this year!

We had a lovely picnic downtown near the canal after we visited the zoo. It was a beautiful day to eat some yummy food outside

You can tell it has been awhile since I had a picnic because I totally forgot the plates, silverware, and napkins...oops! We made due using bread products to scoop stuff.

Monte Cristo sandwiches are really good. Probably better warm, though.

Sweet Fruit Salad and Cinnamon Chips...soooo good for summer!

Cherry-tomato salad in pita bread...good summer food too!

Peanut-butter sandwich cookies...you need a big glass of milk to go with these.

I also made hummus with pita bread, but used the wrong type of beans....duh! It actually still tasted pretty good, but it looked like baby food.

Relaxing in the grass

Pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen. I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way, but I'm so proud of you for making all of that food! It's so easy to go to the store. It's much more difficult to plan out, buy, and make a bunch of food. However, you're totally rewarded when you get to eat it all! Looks like you had a great time! That last shot through the tree is beautiful!
