Camden's Birthday Weekend

We didn't have any plans the weekend of Camden's 2nd birthday, so we filled it with some fun birthday activities! (Many photos taken with our Iphones)

On Saturday, we visited the Children's Museum.  It was our first time there since he was 9 months old! It is such a fun place for kids.  He loved the temporary little kids play area (while they update the old one), geckos, Hot Wheels, trains, and science area the most.  He chose a stuffed kitty from the gift shop and named him Bob Bilaba (translate: Bob the Builder).

For dinner, we decided to be fancy and went to Steak n' Shake.  Camden got a birthday hat (really, all the kids get one) and a free meal (all kids eat free on weekends) and he really enjoyed it.  We ran an errand at Clay Terrace and stopped by the playground for some fun.

Sunday, we started with birthday pancakes with sprinkles.

We headed to the Monon Center to swim.  Chris wanted to play some basketball, so we stopped there first.  Then we played at the indoor pool and had lots of fun.

That afternoon, Camden opened his present.  When asked what it was he said, "I dunno!".  We got him a new water table for the deck since he enjoyed the cheap one we got on Craigslist last year.

After dinner, Chris took Camden on a bike ride to a playground which he always enjoys.

I think Camden had a fun birthday weekend, I know I did!

Camden is one lucky little 2-year old to have such great parents. What a memorable birthday weekend.

The picture of Camden and the pancakes is the best! You sure can pack a lot into one weekend!
