Advent - week 1

Starting December 1st, we do a Christmas themed activity each day! 

- gingerbread houses

- gingerbread Legos

- hot chocolate & egg nog

- Night of Lights at the State Fair

- walk through Bethlehem

- breakfast with Santa, Christmas in Wanamaker, Savannah's holiday recital

Savannah sang "Somewhere in my Memory" as her very first vocal solo

Thanksgiving and Christmas decorating

 I never take photos of Thanksgiving or Christmas decorating, but I did!

I made a whole turkey

Camden made - fresh green beans, Savannah - sweet potato casserole, Jonas - pigs in a blanket, Levi - jalapeño corn bread

late fall

 one of our traditions is called "Kolache Sunrise" where we get kolaches and watch the sun rise at Northview church (the highest point in Hamilton County)

we went to the Children's Museum Peru exhibit and Haunted House

I attended Levi's field trip to the pumpkin patch

Savannah and I volunteer ushered at IRT Christmas Carol (and then saw the show!)
