Sleep: 1 "rest" from 12:30-2:30. Bedtime around 8pm and up around 7am

Favorite Foods:  thinks desserts are "delicious", always eats his fruit first, yogurt with honey and granola for breakfast almost every morning, carrots, salad with ranch, bread, plain noodles (no sauce!), bagel and cream cheese, sour cream on everything (he'd eat that plain), chicken nuggets

Words:  speaks full sentences and can carry on conversation but other people have trouble understanding him.  Asks questions about words he doesn't know ("what does 'enjoy' mean?")

Favorite activities: being outdoors, watching movies and "shows" including most Disney movies, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, playing "make you fall down" with Daddy, dressing up as Iron Man, building cities out of blocks and knocking them down


Learning: major leaps in socialization as he now is much more interested in playing near or with other children where he used to shy away and just watch or avoid crowded situations. Now he will run all over the playground by himself and doesn't require that we stay with him.

Working on:  potty training (this was on his list when he turned 2...he's almost always in underwear now besides night/nap), not running away out in public!, being gentle with Savannah

Funny things:
- refers to anything in the future as "tomorrow, Sunday" and anything in the past as "last night"
- still sleeps with Riley but for the last year or so has added Tractor Book, Buzz Blanket, and Rex nightlight
- used to think he could "drive Mommy and Daddy's cars when I turn 3"...he now knows you have to be much older to do that

- likes to tell us "the plan" which is his version of what we're going to do next
- uses words like "difficult", "jealous", and "rude" in place of "mad/sad"
