To celebrate our little guy turning 3, we invited our immediate family over to our home for a tractor party.
First, we opened presents. Camden got some fun toys, games, and books!

Chris and I got him a bike and big wheel (we bought them off of the same person). The bike was a little too intimidating for him, but he was a fan of the big wheel.

We all went to a pizza place for dinner and when we got home, I brought out the tractor cake! I used the recipe for
classic chocolate layer cake from Annie's Eats Blog (her recipes are always delicious) with chocolate frosting. I doubled it and made it in two 9x13" pans for more surface area. I collected some tractors Camden already had and bought a couple new ones. I also found these cool candies that look like rocks to add to the "construction zone" feel. Crushed up chocolate filled Oreos acted as dirt. What a fun cake to make (because it didn't have to be perfect) and to eat!
Lesson Learned: give 3 year old smaller piece of chocolate cake in the evening (note time stamp)
