I babysat the kids at Savannah's Mom's Time Out on Friday. Bunnies and police officers!
The following photos are from Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. Unfortunately, Savannah's cheek under her eye was injured when Chili (the dog we were watching) bit her Friday evening. She got a few stitches and is feeling fine. They'll come out next week and (as long as they don't get infected) should heal well. It was a bit distressing, but now Chili is back at his home and away from kids. In the photos, she has band aids on her face.
I've been wanting to attend the Westfield Egg Drop for years and finally we were able to go this year! The free tickets sell out within hours of registration opening. They plant eggs on the ground, but then a helicopter flies over a few times and drops even more eggs! It was pretty cool to see. They also staggered the egg hunts which were separated by age groups so we could help Savannah and then watch Camden without splitting up. The eggs are actually empty and you turn them in for bags of candy so that everyone gets the same amount. I thought it was very clever!
she said her head was cold
That evening we headed over to Brownsburg Meadows where Grandpa Tom has been recuperating. The kids visited a few times when he was in the hospital and then at Brownsburg, but neither place is kid friendly so our visits are always short. This time, we reserved a conference room for our Easter festivities. It was nice to celebrate Easter with family, despite the fact we couldn't all be at home together. The family even hid Easter eggs in the courtyard for a egg hunt. The kids loved it and were very good at sharing and helping each other find their colors.

Kudos to Westfield for executing the Easter egg drop in a fair and exciting way!
