Levi - 9 months

At nine months, Levi has officially lived his life on the outside for the same amount of time he was on the inside! What a crazy 9 months it has been, too!

19.5 lb
6 teeth!

He says "Da!" and "Dadada". He also screeches when he wants something or is mad like a bird of prey or dinosaur...it's pretty loud and very obnoxious. When he wants to tell us something (like he sees a dog) he whispers gibberish.

Levi enjoys eating little finger foods and has recently decided he's too big of a boy to eat baby food for the most part. He eats his first meal and then gets down from his high chair and tries to eat his second meal...all the little food bits he dropped on the floor. He puts everything in his mouth still so we need to watch him very carefully.

He enjoys exploring via crawling, pulling himself up, and cruising. He likes to swing. He really likes water! He had his first trip to the beach (just a little lake beach in Fishers) and he enjoyed playing in the sand and the water there. He likes walks. He does not like having his teeth brushed. He likes nursing and gets excited when I tell him it's time for "milk". He thinks his siblings are pretty funny but would prefer they not be all over him sometimes. He doesn't want to be restrained from exploring. He'd like to eat all the mulch. He enjoys animals like dogs and our bunny, and really enjoyed his first zoo trip. He has a favorite book called "Did You Peekaboo?" about babies getting ready for bed...cracks him up every time.

for a little bit he did this lip in smile, we thought it looked like he was up to something

he lays on a pillow or blanket so that we'll say  "night night Levi"
