summer break - July

We've continued our socially distant summer. Most days the kids and I play outside on the school playground, go on walks, and just hang out. The kids have enjoyed playing in a median area in the parking lot behind us that has some bushes, trees, and rocks. They've turned it into their club house and some times a kid or two from the neighborhood will bike over and join. I can see them from the house (yay!) or I take the little boys on a walk on the 1/4 mile track right next to it. This outdoor space has been awesome! In the evenings we will walk to the neighborhood pool that opened this month or go on walks (the kids will often scooter or bike). We've also been working on house projects that come with moving into a new home.

I sold our kitchen table while we waited for our new table to be ready. So we had a tent for awhile

Savannah had a girls sleepover with Cece and grandma, and the boys spent 45 minutes stabbing boxes.

Camden. has helped me cook a few meals. This night he cooked mac n' cheese (mostly) by himself

to keep the kids from getting too used to summer laziness (especially if we have to e-learn again), we do workbooks every morning for a few minutes

kids wanted to wear masks to "church"

we went to Saxony beach in Fishers. The kids were big fans!
