Levi at 6 months

Baby Levi is already half a year old! His first six months have been very eventful and unusual for sure! He basically only knows life in the "Covid Era" where we are home most of the time with little other activities or people beyond our house and family. We also moved right as he turned six months.

Weight: 16lbs 14oz
Height: 25 1/2"

We were able to get in and get his vaccinations and wellness check. He has started eating some baby foods and seems to enjoy them. He still nurses every 2ish hours and twice at night (although I'm trying to wean down to just once...I'm so tired!).

He can crawl! He was learning to crawl right before we moved so we tried to discourage it at the time (too dangerous with boxes and stuff everywhere). Now that we are in our new home, he crawls around army-style but is working on "real" crawling. We'll be baby-proofing soon! I did buy him a pop up play yard so I can stick him in there if I have to step away so he'll be safe. The kids have enjoyed using it as a fort.

He is taking 2-3 naps a day in his crib. Since we are home most of the time he doesn't have to "nap on the go" much like a typical younger sibling. He also flips to his belly to sleep now.

He enjoys putting everything in his mouth, being outside, crawling around, nursing, being held, bath time (with me trying to prevent him from drowning as he gets a little wild), playing with his siblings (if they are not too much).

Hoping for a less eventful second half of your first year!
