This weeks Advent activities included: reading about St. Nicholas and leaving shoes out for him, our church small group Christmas gathering with a movie and cookie decorating, making a holiday snack, breakfast with Santa at Guerin High School followed by the movie Moana (really cute!).
I also got rear ended in our new van this week, so I spent a few hours being monitored at labor & delivery. Luckily Savannah and I weren't hurt but our poor van was and will get repaired this week. It was suppose to be our monthly date night, so Chris brought some chicken wings to the hospital for us to share and my mom came over and made Christmas treats with the kids.

I told the kids we couldn't afford a breakfast with Santa this year, but Guerin High School had a free one so we were able to go!

Love the picture of the kids looking out the window at the snow-covered ground. Looks like it should be on a Christmas card.
