Disney World - day 8 & 9 (final days)

Our last full day in Disney happened to be Savannah's second birthday! I had brought decorations and a couple presents from home and made some cupcakes, so when we were able to return to our room that afternoon we had a little celebration.  That morning, however, we went back to the Magic Kingdom to use the three golden fastpasses we were issued for the trouble the night before. This meant we were able to skip the line and see some Disney princessess that typically have an hour or so wait.

Belle (part of the Enchanted Tales with Belle ride)

I made us lunch reservations at the new Be Our Guest Restaurant themed after Beauty and the Beast. It was a little chaotic since you have to find your own table at lunch time (for 11 people!) but the scenery was straight from the movie

more princesses - Anna and Elsa

That afternoon we decided to check out the contemporary pool (we saw it from our balcony the night before)

presents and cake!

After dinner, us girls took the kids to the community room while the others packed in peace and quite.  They played games, did puzzles, and watched a movie until we headed back for bed.

On Saturday morning, we all went our different ways to catch various flights home. Our flight didn't leave until the afternoon, so we made one last walk over to the Magic Kingdom to ride some of our favorites one last time (these included Pirates of the Carribean, The Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Buzz Lightyear's Spaceranger Spin, the carousel, and the Peoplemover).

Tinkerbell!

I found this perfect photo place...on the last day!

 back in Indianapolis

We had a great trip filled with lots of new and exciting experiences for the kids and lots of walking for the adults (85 miles!). We hope to go back in a few years and experience the magic all over again.
