I always look forward to going to the State Fair and this year was no different! Of course, the first thing we had to do was drive the tractors (and we realize you probably aren't suppose to drive them).
Next we did Little Hands on the Farm

This year we found out you can fish in the "pond" behind the DRN building. A volunteer helps each kid catch 3 fish. That's 3 more fish than Camden caught on vacation and the pole didn't even have a reel! I suppose it helps that it is just a giant pool filled with fish.
Previously, Camden has not been excited to ride any rides at all. When he saw this semi truck ride, he was all about it and later said it was his favorite thing.
We only made it to the poultry/rabbit barn
We ate some fried things, watched the "parade", and walked around. Can't wait for next year!
