On our last day in Gatlinburg, we returned to the Smoky Mountain National Park to hike the same trail to Cataract Falls, since Liz and Steve hadn't been there yet. This time, we brought sandals and waded in the cold stream. We also had another picnic...this time it did not rain. That evening, we went to Mass at a church in Pigeon Forge. After the kids were in bed, us big kids played Catch Phrase and Uno. We had a fun and relaxing time and enjoyed sharing it with family!
I also included a couple photos of where we stayed. We got moved to the top of the hill (the sloooowest drive ever behind the golf carts) but we had wonderful views of the mountains. We also looked right into the construction site of some of the new buildings. Not awesome for most people but for early risers (like us) with a construction-loving little boy (like us) it was great! Camden loved watching the "factors" (aka "tractors")!
