On February 1, Savannah was baptized! We wanted to have our friend, Fr. Danda, perform the ceremony but we couldn't get our schedules to work so we decided to have the ceremony as part of our church's 5:30pm Mass. It was really powerful to have the whole congregation take part in her special evening. The priest even took Savannah up to the altar and whispered something in her ear! Afterwards, our family all headed to our house for a chili bar (thanks Mom for contributing one of the chilis) The
jalepeno corn bread and
chocolate peanut butter layer cake were pretty tasty, too. Welcome to our church, baby girl!

It was a beautiful baptism with the whole congregation participating. Savannah was so precious in her beautiful baptism gown. She never cried at all. Thank you Ryan for taking the photos!
