We met up with my brother's family at breakfast which included many English favorites like scones, beans, tomatoes, and mushrooms. It was a great way to start each morning.
We started by taking the tube to parliament/Big Ben to check them out.
We walked along Southbank where the kids were delighted by pigeons. We spent a long time chasing pigeons and some people even gave the kids bread to feed them.
We eventually made it to the London Eye where we had 1pm tickets. Our biggest surprise and splurge of the trip was that we booked a tea party on the Eye. Since it maxes out at 10 guests, we also had a private experience! The first half hour on board we enjoyed the tea, tea sandwiches, and pastries. The second half we looked out the windows at the amazing views of London. It was truly a special experience.
