Savannah at 11 years

Savannah is eleven! She is a calm (much needed) presence in a house full of boys. She is reasonable and seems to understand the parenting choices we make day to day. She is still a quiet girl in school, but she has a couple good friends at school that she enjoys hanging out with. She played soccer in spring and fall and did well, but doesn't feel like it's her calling. She is still an artist and comes up with cute and unique drawings. She has a creative spirit. She still collects tons of stuffed animals which are all over her room and her "babies". She has been spending more time doing her own thing while her brothers play sports or wrestle. She likes to spend time at night with mom watching You Tube artists and braiding hair. She is enjoying her last year of elementary school and knows there will be big changes with middle school next year.

Likes: art, stuffed animals, swimming, playing with friends, good food like sushi, shopping, lotions and body sprays, Ipad games

Dislikes: her brothers being crazy, football on TV, being too busy

teeth/health: she is waiting for a few more teeth to fall about before getting braces, probably In 2025. She also learned she has difficulty focusing (mostly in school) and have been working on ways to manage that more, especially as she prepares for middle school next year.

These photos were taken at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix when the high was 106 degrees!
