RV Camp/Savannah's birthday

Savannah had been wanting to camp so we decided to make a campout her birthday celebration. Neither Chris nor I have any clue how to tent camp (and we didn't want to go out and invest in camp gear) so we decided to rent a stationary RV at a campground. I actually wanted two RVs so we could set up a pack-n-play for Levi to sleep in one and have Chris and the older kids in the other. It was a little tricky to find, but we were able to get two neighboring RVs at a campground in Morgantown, Bill Monroe's Music Park.

On the way down, we hiked a short trail and had a picnic in Brown County State Park. The trees were beautiful as were the overlooks, but by the time we left most of Indiana was headed in, it seemed. We checked into our RVs and my parents and brother's family joined us.

My dad brought our inflatable kayaks, so we took turns taking the kids out onto the little pond behind our campers. It was Jonas' first time in the kayaks since he was too little for river kayaking. We had a cookout, ate birthday cupcakes, and made s'mores. We also took a little walk around the campground and saw a mule and goats.
