Summer break - June

This summer, as was the case with most of this year so far, has been different than others. While many things are opening up around us, we are remaining generally reserved and cautious regarding the coronavirus. We've been around family and going to playgrounds but have cancelled our vacations and are not going to indoor venues. While it seemed like a major bummer at first, I have to admit we're getting quite use to it and still having fun. There are some summer traditions I'll definitely miss, but this low-key summer has still been a good one so far.

Savannah wanted to dress up like Mulan. I so miss the phase when she used to dress up like princesses all the time. These phases pass too quickly.

Camden played 3 games of Monopoly by himself as Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi...Luke won every game apparently

new cousin Thomas came to visit

Iron Man came to save the day! Finally!

After it rains, Jonas likes to "shower" in the dripping gutter

Savannah took a class on "minibeasts" on Outschooled

On my birthday, during our usual family zoom call, I watched my Mom opened Christmas presents that were meant for my neice and nephew in California. That sums up this year pretty well

we ventured out to Carmel's midtown area...so cool!

We bought 2 inflatable kayaks and I took Savannah one day and Chris took Camden down the White River to my dad's house near 79th St. It was so fun, can't wait to do it again! I didn't get any pictures since I was too busy being nervous about the high waters that day.
