4th of July

My sister-in-law's friend has a house with a private pool and she graciously invited us over for a pre-fourth swim. The kids had a great time. That evening, my brother-in-law shot off some pretty awesome fireworks in their front yard and gave the kids plenty of sparklers. I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or Uncle Steve.

On the 4th of July this year, many cities cancelled their fireworks. Carmel, however, added two additional locations so residents could potentially see the shows from their own backyard. We were able to see the Carmel East show from the soccer field right behind us. It was so convenient since the baby could be at home asleep and we didn't need to commute anywhere. We were so greatful they did that!
