Orlando - resort & Disney Springs

On Monday, we explored the resort more and tried the swan paddle boats. We also did Jurassic Mini Golf again since it was much cooler and not crowded at all in the morning. We went back to the water park for a bit before taking a rest.

Funny Jonas moment: He was really excited to play putt putt, but when we got him set up with his putter he said "This isn't putt putt, this is just a stick!". We figured out he thought putt putt meant an arcade.

I had made reservations at TRex (a dinosaur themed restaurant) at Disney Springs, so we headed there for an early dinner. We sat in the coral reef section which was less scary during the meteor shower that happens periodically. The kids looked around at the various dinosaurs. Jonas really enjoyed it.

After dinner we walked around and shopped a bit. Camden and Savannah had their chore money burning a hole in their pockets. Camden bought cotton candy (he's saving for Pokemon stuff so he didn't want to spend much) and Savannah bought a little Lady dog wrapped in a blanket (totally her thing). Jonas got a matching Pua pig from Moana.

Savannah and I had watched a video from the Disney Food Blog about must eat snacks. We both wanted to try bubble waffles and cookie dough from Aristocrepes. They were pretty yummy! We also got to watch the volcano erupt at the Rainforest Cafe. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed walking around.

finally, bubble waffles and edible cookie dough!

On our way out, we decided to stop by the Caribbean Beach Resort. We sat on the beach for a little bit and then walked around the grounds.
