Camden at 8 years

Camden is 8! He's enjoying finishing up the second grade, currently obsessed with Pokemon cards, enjoys reading graphic novels (like Dog Man and Captain Underpants), still an avid Lego builder, good at math, enjoys being active but isn't really into any specific sports. He's active in cub scouts and enjoys things like the Pinewood Derby and rocket building. He has a few close friends at school but nobody in our neighborhood which will make summer time more difficult for socialization. He's social and easy to get a long with. He argues with Chris and I and always has to plead his case. He enjoys playing with Savannah and wrestling with Jonas.

Height: 49.75"
Weight: 54lbs
Clothing: size 7 (maybe even 6), size 1 shoe
Teeth: hasn't lost any teeth recently, has had a palate expander in place since December and will have it until the end of summer probably (although we don't have to crank it anymore luckily). He'll also have one baby tooth pulled this summer to make room for an adult tooth. Then hopefully he'll have a few years before we talk about braces. Honestly, his teeth look really straight to me!

Favorite Foods (besides "treats"):  apples! (still), peanut butter and honey sandwich (he would eat this every day for lunch) fruit, plain noodles, pizza. He's our pickiest eater and doesn't like foods with lots of ingredients, he is rarely excited about what I make for dinner.

Favorite activities: Pokemon card collecting/playing/organizing, building legos, board/card games, watching movies/shows, arcades, laser tag, playgrounds, would probably really enjoy video games but just started watching Chris play Banjo Kazooie on the old Nintendo 64

Tidbits:
- Camden has always got really into things (Star Wars, Legos, etc). He's now into Pokemon which is appealing to him because of the statistics and organization involved in the cards. He seems to like things that have specific numbers and characteristics involved.
- Would stay up late reading if we didn't remind him to turn out his light at night
- Would not ever shower if I didn't force him...gross
- Needs alone time in the afternoons after school where he can play by himself in his room for a bit
