Since Camden's birthday falls on Easter Sunday this year, we opted to have his party the weekend before. He wanted a bowling/laser tag party at Woodland Bowl, which turned out to be the perfect match for a kid his age. Since the kids are insistent on having "themes", he chose Legos (this was before he became absolutely obsessed with Pokemon). Since it wasn't at our house (thank goodness!) we just made some lego gummy treats and had a "guess how many legos in this container" game.
The kids bowled, played in the arcade, and had a round of adults vs. kids laser tag. We ate cupcakes and sang happy birthday. He was excited that his friends got him Pokemon gifts and now he and Chris can learn how to play the card game! It was a fun birthday for our 8 year old!
