Advent - week 1

Sunday - we celebrated with our small group Christmas Party, including our annual watching of The Very First Noel movie. We also blessed the Christmas Tree (a new favorite tradition for me)

Monday - read a few new Christmas books, Savannah and I went to see some excerpts from The Nutcracker ballet at the library

Tuesday - I had Advent by Candelight at church and the kids colored in their teacher's Christmas cards

Wednesday - we watched Veggie Tales St. Nicholas movie, read about St. Nicholas, and left shoes out. We also went to the Mall for a holiday Lego minibuild for Camden.

Thursday - my Mom moved in after selling her house, so we watched a Christmas movie (elf) and ate ice cream

Friday - Christmas at the Zoo with my brother's family

Saturday - the kids went to see Elf at Beef and Boards with their grandparents and then went with them to look at lights

Savannah and Jonas take turns opening the decorative advent nativity scene. Camden is not in the rotation this year because he bought his own Lego Advent Calendar that has a small Lego piece to build each day.
