Mother's Day/My birthday
To celebrate Mother's Day and my birthday, I got to pick the activities we did for the day. One of my favorite things is to walk the canal, so we headed there in the morning. We walked most of the way down, spent some time in the State Museum, walked back and had a picnic lunch in the grass. We headed home for a rest. We grabbed early dinner at Chipotle with the coupons we got for signing up for Summer Reading, went to Lowes (I needed stuff to refinish our kitchen table), the pet store, and the book store. Then we got Coldstone ice cream at Clay Terrace Mall.
