Branson - activities

One morning, we toured a rainbow trout fish hatchery and learned how they grow and care for these fish before releasing them into the wild. We then walked along a trail besides Table Rock Lake and had a picnic lunch.

We all got to feed various sized fish.

Savannah told Chris later, "The sign said 'fish will bite' but I put my finger in the air and no fish jumped out to bite me". I guess she didn't realize they only bite if you put your finger in the water!

The resort had a little trail by waterfalls on site that we hiked one morning.

Those of us who did not venture down

those who ventured down a bit lower

We did a "Ride the Ducks" tour that went through Branson and into Table Rock Lake

the kids got to drive the duck in the water

On our way to Branson we stopped in St. Louis (half way) to check out the zoo. It was too hot and crowded, so we didn't stay long. On the way home, we walked along the Gateway Arch area which was a nice break.
