Savannah's New Room

We were waiting to go to IKEA to get the finishing items for Savannah's new room. Last month we painted the walls and then locked the doors so the kids wouldn't see the final product until it was complete. This past weekend we got and assembled the final items to make her room complete. Have a look!

This room was our former guest room and is very small. We moved the queen bed out and into Camden's room which he will give up when guests are over. Because her room is so small, there wasn't really space for a dresser, so we bought a closet system to use instead.

Before (well, after I emptied the closet everywhere):

After:

About a year ago I found this bedding on a garage sale site and snatched it up. It came with the pillows and the hand-painted canvases. Then, I found the bed (also on a garage sale site) that was perfect because it had a trundle bed underneath for future sleep overs or for Camden we have guests who need to sleep in his room.

They toy storage unit, table, chair, rug, lamp, and book holders are all IKEA.

the decals were a last-minute addition from Amazon when my original plan didn't work. I think they work great for the space!

checking it out. Camden said "This isn't what I was expecting, but it's still beautiful." He said when I showed him the package the wall decals came in there was a fort bed on the photo that he thought would be in the room. Sorry buddy, no fort.

I love what you have done with both kids rooms! Can I hire you to decorate William and Eliana's room??
