Hello, Purdue Pete!

We have a book called "Hello Purdue Pete" that we read to Camden (it is Chris' alma mater, of course). In the book, Purdue Pete walks around campus near several of the landmarks on his way to a football game.  Chris was really wanting to take us all to Purdue to show Camden around and find the spots that are in the book this summer.  Dressed in our best Purdue attire with the book in hand, we drove up to check out the sites!

We enjoyed a picnic lunch on campus

Camden got his very own hammer, just like Purdue Pete! (Camden's is foam, thankfully)

someone didn't lock up Mackey Arena!

We found all the places in the book and saw some of the places Daddy spent many days at during his college years.

What a cool idea! I'm sure you and Camden will relive the memories every time you read the book.

I love this! You all could be an advertisement for Purdue. Camden and Savannah make the cutest little Boilermakers!

ha! This is awesome! Your summer looks so similar to ours. This is on our list to do in September, the kids still haven't been.
