Strawberry picking

I just now discovered that Spencer Farms has berry picking in the summer and it is just north of our house!  Our family loves fruit and especially berries. We joined some friends from my MOM's club one morning to gather strawberries. Most of the kids spent more time eating berries than picking.  Maybe they need to weigh the kids before and after, not just the containers you fill?  Because my hands were full, we only picked one container full but we made some strawberry shortcakes for snack that evening.  And I also did a load of strawberry-stained laundry :)
