Great Wolf Lodge

We really needed to get out of the house before Mommy somebody started going crazy!  To escape for a few days, we bought a Groupon to The Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio. I had been wanting to check this place out since I first heard of it a couple years ago.  We weren't sure if Camden would be old enough to enjoy it there, but he really had a great time!

My Mom joined us for a few hours on our first night and she walked around with Savannah while Mommy, Daddy, and Camden went swimming. Camden's favorite things were the giant bucket that dumps water every so often and the "hot pool".  He also really enjoyed climbing around, shooting water, the wave pool, and the kids pool and slide.  We were proud of him for trying the slightly bigger kids water slide (there are several water slides for various ages and swimming abilities). He did that several times in a row until he swallowed some water and was ready to move on.  While Grandma was still there, Chris and I got to try two of the "big kids" water slides and they were definitely fast and fun!

When we weren't swimming, we played games at the arcade, ate some ice cream, watched the clock tower show, and enjoyed not being stuck at home!  We enjoyed our little get away and will hopefully return once Savannah can join the fun!
