We decided to take a sunset bat cruise while in Austin. There are 1.5 million Mexican Free-tailed Bats that live under Congress bridge and come out in swarms every summer night at sunset! It was a pretty unique experience!

we realized that the bats "relieve" themselves as they fly out...a few times we were underneath the bridge and covered our faces to protect them from the "rain"
