Dayton, OH - USAF museum

Chris was working in Dayton, Ohio for 2 weeks, so Camden and I decided to tag along for two nights on my days off.  Sunday night we went to the National Museum of the USAF.  Since there aren't many hands-on exhibits there, we weren't sure what Camden would think...but he really enjoyed looking at the big "airpains and helipods".  Chris used to go to this museum with his Grandpa when he was little, so it brought back good memories for him.

helipod zooming!

he wanted to take this home, we got the little toy instead

We stayed at the hotel Chris was staying at but reserved a 1-bedroom unit for the nights we were there.  They upgraded us for free to a 2-bedroom, so Camden got his own room (which also meant I could sleep in one bedroom and Chris could watch the end of the Pacer's game in the living room).  I recently noticed he was a bit too big for his pack-n-play and I was really not sure where he would sleep on vacations. What do other people do? We ended up getting a kids air mattress and tried it out on this trip (with the pack-n-play as a back up).  He was excited about sleeping on it and stayed there all night but talked during his entire "nap" (1.5hrs!).  These new beds are just too exciting!  I heard him telling Riley (the monkey) no, they couldn't watch TV.  That Riley is always looking for mischief : )

I'll post next about what Camden and I did while Chris went to work on Monday.
