When I was four years old I asked my parents for a pet. After some thought, they told me I had to wait until I was nine years old (I think they hoped I might change my mind by then). Well, I didn't forget or change my mind for five whole years and on my nineth birthday, I got a kitten. I wanted an orange one so I could be like the little girl in Oliver and Company : ) My kitty has managed to hang in there through all sorts of changes and is still around today. Yep, that is one old cat!
