Old Operating Theatre (7-13-06)

have a little bit of time before I meet my Uncle Paul at the Hilton to go to the London Eye. He is working here this month and invited me to join him for a buffet dinner, a ride on one of the red busses, and then a trip on the London Eye. As soon as that is over, Teresa and I are meeting the other Marian girls to catch the bus to Scotland.

During class today, our Professor took us to the Old Operating Theatre where they used to perform surgeries without any anesthesia. They would just cut off your leg right there on the wooden table with a saw in front of an audience. Thank goodness for modern medical technology!
