Here are the top 10 bits of knowledge I gained from my time in London and elsewhere in Europe:

1. Everything is extremely expensive, although you won?t realize until you see the conversion rate on your credit card bill.
2. Just because they are speaking English doesn?t mean you can understand a word they are saying.
3. Pedestrians DO NOT have the right-of-way.
4. The doors on the Underground train will close, even if that means with you in between them.
5. Be nice to people and they?ll be nice to you.
6. Do not call the ?toilets? the ?bathroom? if you want to live.
7. Most Europeans have been to America before. All of those who have, went to San Diego and love talking about it.
8. Being the Queen or part of the Royal family is pretty much the best job ever.
9. Just forget you ever knew about air conditioning and ice cubes.
10. You don?t like football (soccer)? You will
