Advent Week 1

Here are our activities for the first week of Advent:

1. Celebrate the start of Advent with a party with our small group including snacks, crafts, and caroling.
2. Camden, Savannah, and I went to the library to see exerpts from the Nutcracker ballet. I won tickets in a raffle there, so they'll be able to see the whole thing in a few weeks!
2. Finally checked out Chriskindlemarkt in Carmel (it's been around for 3 years and this was our first visit).
4. Blessed the Christmas tree
5. Read about St. Nicholas and set out shoes
6.  Christmas craft and movie (Elf)
7. Winter Wonderland in Fishers

In addition to Chriskindlemarkt, I've been wanting to check out the annual Winter Wonderland event in Fishers since it is free. We went and had a great time! Mini-train ride, free Starbucks apple cider, crafts, candy cane hunt, ice sculpture making, and a bounce house. We hope to make that an annual tradition.
