We held off putting Jonas in his big boy bed in his new dinosaur room until I could get a bed rail that would work. The one I ordered happened to be delivered the same day I got some "big kid bed" books from the library with him (our library has a big "bibliotherapy" section for all sorts of kid related milestones/issues/conflicts...so nice!). So it seemed fitting to move him into his bed even though he's been sleeping really well in his crib. He was fine with the idea but told me the bed was "a little too big" before I left. He was in bed awake for an hour or so, but slept fine! Unlike the other kids, he doesn't want any special blanket, stuffed animal, or anything in bed with him...he says "just me, Jonas". It's funny because Camden still has an elaborate system of blankets, stuffed animals, and pillows he sets up each night.
