first day of kindergarten for Savannah

Savannah has been apprehensive about starting school. She is afraid of being "alone" which basically means away from her family. This isn't a new fear, she generally isn't interested in camps/activities or anything that she has to do "alone". It's something we plan to work through with some assistance. It reminds me so much of myself when I was her age, so I definitely empathize. Since she did fine in preschool after the first week or so, I'm hoping this will be similar. She cried during much of her kindergarten orientation, which made me nervous about the first day and week. She got on the bus without a fight (I was worried!) and sits right behind the driver. She gets to have a teddy bear party on Friday, so I know she'll be all about that!
