new Inlow park

One of the things we absolutely love about living in Carmel is the amazing parks/playgrounds around us. We heard last fall that Inlow park just outside our neighborhood was getting a big overhaul. We watched the construction every time we left the neighborhood for about 7 whole months....it seemed like forever! Finally, it's open...and it does not disappoint!

The playground is modeled after one in Seattle and is one of only two in the country like it. It is three separate playgrounds connected by a short walking path. The playgrounds are partly in the woods, so the surroundings are very natural and somewhat shaded. The focus seems to be on climbing and imaginative play with a lot of creative climbing/spinning/exploring structures. The third playground has three tall forts with walking bridges in between and big slides at the ends. It is so cool and perfect for our family since it appeals to bigger kids while still having elements little ones enjoy. It still has the original splash pad and disc golf course we've always enjoyed. Way to go Carmel! So glad this is just a minute from our house!
