life as a 3rd child

Being the third child, it some times seems like Jonas is not getting his "own" stuff. Most of his clothes were already pre-owned when Camden wore them 6 years ago! He plays with the other kids' toys and doesn't have much that is "his". However, there are definitely benefits. He has constant entertainment when the kids are home. Also, he gets a lot of opportunities to do big kid stuff.

We took everyone to the McDonalds with a play place the other evening to burn some energy. We didn't realize that all of the climbing structures had steps that were so high Jonas couldn't possibly climb up. Camden boosted Jonas up each step all the way to the top and escorted him all over the tunnels/slides. Of course, once wasn't enough so he ended up helping him several times. He was lucky to have a big (but not too big) brother that night!

it is also nice to have another reader around for when I've read the same book 5,000 times

We were running behind the other morning so Savannah picked out Jonas' clothes and completely dressed him (except a new diaper...that's still too tricky although she tries). Big sister to the rescue!
