February

February. The month I dread the most each year. We usually manage to stay relatively healthy, but once February hits all bets are off. I've basically been stuck inside (minus going to work once a week and an occasional trip out) with a sick kid this whole month. Luckily, this time of year our schedule isn't too full and we make do.

While we wait for spring, we've been ironing out our vacation plans for this year and are looking forward to a fun and busy second part of the year!

Camden's been busy with:
 - creating a project for his mini mart at school (as part of an economics lesson). He made 10 folders with a Prairie Trace sticker (we made using my Silhouette) to "sell".
- he just completed his last basketball game for Carmel Dad's club. He's been playing since November with Chris as an assistant coach. While he enjoys playing basketball for fun, we've learned he isn't very competitive natured nor is he aggressive on the court. Hopefully we can find a sport or activity that will better fit his personality going forward.

Daddy daughter dance for Valentine's Day:

This week I started a 6 month treatment plan to fix my "wonky" teeth (a couple of my teeth have gotten quite crooked over the last few years). Probably against my better judgement, I started my journey with an at home tooth aligners company (braces or Invisalign were going to cost $5,000+ - way too much for us). The plan is overseen by an orthodontist (who I will never meet) and the company has been easy to work with since I started the process in December. I'm currently on week 2 of wearing the aligners and learning to live with these things on my teeth. Just hoping my teeth don't fall out or anything crazy!
