Our first stop was the Museum of Science and Industry. This museum is all of our favorite and is packed full of amazing things! On this day we spent time exploring the weather/storm exhibit, train exhibit, mirror maze (sooo funny and confusing), genetics, circus, and a few others. We ate lunch and then checked into our room.
After a nap for Jonas, we walked to Burger Bar for an early dinner followed by a long walk to Adler Planetarium. The kids really enjoyed the kid's area there, especially this dark room with only stars visible...they did that area about twenty times (Jonas maybe more). Camden was learning about the moon in school, so we did that exhibit and the solar system exhibit before it was closing time.
We decided to try taking a bus back to the apartment which ended up being a lifesaver that we used several times over the weekend. Although Camden is seven, he complains about walking long distances and often bargains with Savannah to ride in the stroller...good thing we brought our double!
our air mattress in the kitchen for Camden and Savannah. Jonas thought it was for him, too.
