floating islands of Pandora
Our next ride was a safari through the African savanna (or as Savannah likes to say "A ride through me!"). We saw lots of animals! After that, Chris and Adam rode Expedition Everest while the rest of us saw an awesome Festival of the Lion King show.

After we ate our packed lunch, we spent awhile in the Boneyard which is a dinosaur themed play area and dig site. They could have spent hours there. We stopped by the It's Tough to Be a Bug show (which was too scary for Camden and Savannah just like it was last time) before heading back.

That evening, after dinner in the room, we went back to the Magic Kingdom with the older three kids to ride a couple rides and watch the Happily Ever After fireworks show. In addition to fireworks, images are displayed on the castle and it was so cool. We learned some valuable lessons about getting a seat closer to the front and not buying ice cream right before the show starts (it was a melty mess). We ended up watching the show again later in the week with Camden and Cece from our hotel room balcony.
