Plans for 2018

It's a new year and time to look forward to what this year may bring (although we all know there will be plenty of surprises along the way!).

Jonas
-turning one in just a few weeks!
-learning to walk and will be able to enjoy the playgrounds and outdoors once it warms up
-lots of "firsts" planned for this year

Savannah
- finishing 3/4's preschool and starting pre-kindergarten in the fall
- hoping to grow her hair so it can finally be pulled back out of her face
- first ballet recital in May
- playing church soccer this spring
- may try a bike with no training wheels this summer (she's mastered the balance bike)

Camden
- finishing 1st grade and starting 2nd grade in the fall
- will be preping for first communion and reconciliation next fall!
- trying basketball this winter and soccer again this spring
- hoping to get more involved in cub scouts (including pinewood derby in a couple weeks)
- maybe piano lessons?
- we're wanting to get him to enjoy reading for fun on his own now that he can read actual books

Stephanie
- continuing to work twice a week, looking for a new babysitter starting this summer when grandma starts a job with benefits
- staying involved in Mom's Club and maybe joining the church Mom's club if it fits in my work schedule
- continuing with photography and other hobbies (as time permits)

Chris
- several church commitments including being the lay director of the next Christ Renews His Parish and planning to attend a Cursillo retreat
- hoping to get promoted at the end of this year

Family
- our vacation back to Disney World in April! I'll be writing much more about it, but I've already put hours into planning (which I do enjoy)
- our vacation to Gulf Shores, Alabama for a relaxing week on the beach. I've been SO missing the beach and it will be nice to have this more low-key vacation.
- possibly visiting friends in Columbus and Chicago over school breaks
- starting some new traditions including celebrating our "saint days" (the feast day for the saints of our middle names)

Happy new year to all and I hope your year is full of joy and love!
