This year Camden has been really into Santa (more than any previous year). Chris and I don't talk too much about Santa, so I'm pretty sure the other first graders really build it up. Savannah was surprisingly a little skeptical earlier in the year (in the car this past fall she told Camden Santa isn't real, but he wouldn't believe it). Camden also was really excited about our elf that hides around our house each night starting a week or so before Christmas. He also has kindness elves at school that give the kids a kindness tasks each day. Savannah commented to me regarding the elf "he can't be real, he's not breathing". It seems, though, Camden has convinced her to be a believer...after all it is more fun! By Christmas they were both really into Santa and excited for him to come.
On Christmas morning Jonas got a slide and a little animal toy he had liked at Holiday Park. Savannah got a Lite Brite, Easy Bake Oven, and some shrinky dinks. Camden got legos including a lego board game and some super hero toys. Also, Camden lost his two front teeth a few months ago. We joked all he'd want for Christmas is his two front teeth, and they both pretty much grew in over the last two weeks!
Christmas morning
We spent the day in our PJs playing with all the new toys, eating, and watching a Christmas movie. For Chris and I, I made filet mignon, roasted potatoes, and garlic green beans for dinner...sooo good (the steak in particular). Too bad I don't cook like that more often! A truly relaxing day!
legos, of course

Sounds like a great Christmas. The pictures make it look like you open gifts in your living room, but based on the gifts she got, I think Savannah opened her gifts in 1973.
Adam, what's funny is we watched an old Christmas video of us growing up and I got a lite brite and a little oven for Christmas when I was 4, also.
