9th Anniversary Weekend in Chicago

To celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary, Chris and I took a three-night trip to Chicago. I wasn't able to take many photos due to an issue with my camera lens, but it was a bit too heavy to be carrying around anyways.

We used our ISM museum card to get into a few museums for free including the Field Museum (we enjoyed the Evolving Planet exhibit), the Museum of Surgical Science, and the Driehaus Museum (a restored home from the Guilded Age).

Most importantly we ate delicious meals. Our hotel, the Hyatt Regency, was located on the south end of the magnificant mile right along the river. We were able to walk to many restaurants. We ate at Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe (twice!), Elephant & Castle, Geja's fondue restaurant and others. We also took naps and spent a few hours watching HGTV and relaxing :)
