Last Day of School

Camden has really enjoyed his year at Hazel Dell Christian School and made some good friends and memories. It's sad that all the children are parting ways and heading off to kindergarten. The carefree days of pre-school play is over and onto the long adventure of school.

To wrap up the year, the students put on a little rehearsal of all they had learned. They sang songs and also recited a Bible verse for each letter of the alphabet! I had no idea they learned those! The teachers kindly gave us the flash cards with the versus to keep. Then, all of the kids received a certificate of completion.

Parents were invited back to their classroom to watch how their circle time goes. They did the pledge, weather, day of the week, story, and song. We helped them with a sand craft before packing up and heading to Forest Park for a picnic.

Camden was running around with his buddies one last time before we had to say goodbye. Hopefully they'll get together once or twice this summer.
