Height: 43"
Weight: 39lbs
Clothing Size: 5 tops, 4 bottoms
Favorite Foods: apples!, fruit, carrots, plain noodles, pizza, microwaved steamed veggies, foods without many ingredients mixed together, will try most anything. Of course sweets and treats.
Favorite activities: playing Star Wars, legos, playing with swords or shooters, running around/jumping on things, slides, climbing, playing wrestle with Daddy, playing babies with Savannah, forts, watching movies and shows, listening to books, coloring
Goals for this year:
-riding a bike-we took the wheels off of his bike to make it a balance bike in hopes of helping him. It's been challenging to get him to ride a bike very long for some reason.
-swimming-we hope to see more confidence and independence in the water by the end of summer.
-taking a shower-he's scared of the shower
Biggest achievements this year:
-greater independence overall-including getting dressed and playing well by himself
-coloring and writing! He's really taken an interest in coloring and art projects whereas before I could never get him to sit long enough to color for more than 3 minutes. He even sat down and wrote out letters for over a half hour the other day (his own idea) which was shocking!
-improvements in speech, he still has issues with some pronunciation, but it's getting better. May need speech therapy.
-playing well with Savannah
- seems to do well socially at school and elsewhere
Tidbits:
- He always wants to watch Chris and I (and Grandma when she's here) leave the house and drive away through the window. It's very important to him.
- He has taken on a true big brother roll with Savannah - he has put her in timeout before and I often overhear him telling her what she can and cannot do and what the consequences are for doing things. He also looks out for her and says he'll take care of her since he's older.
-seems to have a good memory of movie character names. I think he inherited that from Chris
-he has an invisible "buddy" that rides on his shoulders. When I asked what they talk about he said "Star Wars and Christmas"
-knows a lot about Star Wars despite only seeing one movie
he wanted his Star Wars figurines in all the photos
