After I found out two of my close friends were pregnant with their first babies and due very close together, I knew I'd have to get creative when throwing them a shower. I threw all etiquette rules out the window and ended up going with a surprise double co-ed baby shower. I invited their mutual friends to arrive 30 minutes early and everyone was there to yell "surprise" when each of the moms-to-be arrived (thinking they were just coming over for dinner...their husbands knew about the surprise). So glad so many of our friends could attend...it's so nice to get together especially for a happy occasion!
