London through the Eye (7-6-06)

After class today, our professor took us on the London Eye. Basically it is a huge Ferris wheel that takes � hour to go one turn around. We got to see a great view of the city, especially Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Big Ben, and St. Paul�s. Teresa and I are leaving in a few hours on the Eurostar for Paris. We picked a good weekend to leave London because tomorrow is the one year anniversary of the Underground bombings. It was a very serious event here and all MSU students (including us from Marian) are not allowed to ride the Underground tomorrow for safety purposes. Our train leaves around 6:45 so we are packing up and heading out soon for Paris. I�ll post my weekend journal entries sometime after I get back. Have a safe and fun weekend!
