I woke up at 6 a.m. this morning to the sound of howler monkeys outside. I convinced Chris to get up and go look for them with me. We didn’t find them, but we did see a few iguanas, birds, and even a variegated squirrel collecting palm branches. Since we were up, we ate breakfast at the buffet and went to the Royal Service pool to claim a cabana. The cabana’s are usually all taken, but we were the only ones at the pool for a few hours (no one gets up before tenish). We relaxed and swam all morning and afternoon. We had an interesting encounter with a very large iguana that hung out in a tree next to us all morning and eventually visited our cabana. After being told the sunset cruise was not available on Sunday, we decided to walk on the beach for a bit. We were instantly attacked by mosquitos which ended our beach trip quite quickly (after a few pictures of course). We ate dinner again at the Italian restaurant an left very full. We packed up all of our things for our flight from Liberia in the morning.
